Faceless Phantom

Cowered in the Light of sudden greatness
Its crowning and its sparkles have gone gray
To see a bowl of cherries is outrageous
To twig a branch of wisdom, I’m afraid

Showered in the writings we’ve created
Its drowning, gasping air has gone astray
To face the faceless phantom is courageous
Deciphering the symbols we convey
